| Kenya and the Safari.com marathon Nairobi and the Aberdare Country Club |

| After running marathons in Antarctica, Australia, North and South America, I was left with Africa, Asia and Europe to complete my membership requirements for the Seven Continents Club. Several months ago I signed up for the Safari.com marathon which is held in Kenya each year to raise money for an animal conservancy. It seemed like a good way to combine a marathon in Africa with an opportunity to go on safari and see wild animals in their natural habitat. |
| The first stop on the trip was the elegant Norfolk Hotel in Nairobi. |

| We began our hydrating for the marathon several days in advance poolside at the Norfolk. |
